
Brief:
The SMC GO app has retained its features for two years. Students heavily use the app during enrollment at the beginning of the semester. The most popular modules were Class Schedule and Google Maps. Then, the app was installed on about 20,500 devices, a figure low compared to student enrollment. The stakeholders aimed to boost interest in the SMC GO app by involving students in shaping the app’s strategy and creating themed modules or content. The goal is active engagement throughout the student lifecycle, from pre-enrollment to graduation and transfer.
